Not that life is unfair - the people there are
Life is unfair, is the suggestive statement of the offender, their stooges and the excuse of the spectators of the whole which can not be bothered, even their contribution to more to do justice. Sort of like when someone says to the thirsty: life can you die of thirst because it leaves the water only flows downhill, not up in your cup.
