by bike through the winter
For about 15 years I drive in the winter on a pair of studded tires NOKIA (Mount & Ground) to the police about it. If anyone in Europe knows how to deal with ice and snow, then surely the Scandinavians.
I for one know yet how the bike shop asked me skeptical of his time - before he ordered the tires - if I would not know because the winters in this city. Granted, in several winters on it draw the things I needed, but to drive with the new tire over frozen lakes and streams on just the same, that was what - and on foot much too dangerous.
